LanguageCert Test of English (LTE)

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) qualifications (Listening & Reading) are officially on the list of certifications regulated or recognised by the designated official authorities in the following countries:

United Kingdom

Ofqual
LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) for levels A1-C2 are regulated by Ofqual in the sector subject area “Languages, literature and culture of the British Isles”.

The qualifications reside in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) from Entry Level 1 to 3 and Level 1 to 3, which maps to the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications. In addition, they map to the European Qualifications Framework, as portability is important to those looking for jobs or seeking to employ people from across the continent. They also directly map to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from level A1 to C2.

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) qualifications are:

  • A valid proof of English language proficiency for employers in UK
  • Pre-requisites for UK qualifications that require evidence of suitable English language proficiency
  • Evidence of English language proficiency in order to study at a UK or International University*

*Each University’s requirements of proficiency may differ. Certificate holders should contact the university of their interest for specific information.

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) qualification is recognised by ASEP (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection) at levels Β1, Β2, C1 and C2.
The certificates are valid proof of English Language proficiency, which is a prerequisite for access to opportunities for employment in the Public Sector. They may also be accepted for admission to programmes at the Public Universities and Institutes of Higher Education across the country, as well as for employment at private organisations. However, certificate holders are advised to confirm with the organisation of their interest.
