Université de Salamanque

L'Universidad de Salamanca est un point de référence académique pour l'enseignement de l'espagnol comme langue étrangère dans le monde entier. C'était la première université espagnole à proposer des cours de langue et de culture espagnoles par le biais de son programme d'espagnol en tant que langue étrangère en 1929. Elle a poursuivi son travail académique et pédagogique sans interruption depuis lors. En 2018, l'université a fêté ses huit cents ans d'existence.

L'Université de Salamanque, par l'intermédiaire de ses Cursos Internacionales de la Universidad de Salamanca, s'engage actuellement dans tous les domaines liés à l'espagnol en tant que langue étrangère : Enseigner aux étudiants et aux enseignants, produire du matériel pour l'apprentissage et l'enseignement. Évaluer les compétences linguistiques, au niveau national et international, tout en s'associant à des organisations de promotion de la langue espagnole. Cursos Internacionales de l'Universidad de Salamanca participe également à des travaux primés sur la culture hispanique.

En 1997, l'Universidad de Salamanca et l'Université de Cambridge, l'Alliance Française et le Goethe Institut ont développé les tests multilingues BULATS (Business Language Testing Service), qui sont administrés depuis 2017 via la plateforme en ligne de PeopleCert sous le nouveau nom LanguageCert USAL esPro. PeopleCert est l'organisation mère de LanguageCert.
